Cycling event raises money for Healthy Kids Express
St. Louis, Mo. – Traditionally, March Madness is synonymous with college basketball; but this year, Club Fitness in Florissant wants you to be mad about spinning, “We are hosting the March Madness Spinning Charity to benefit the Healthy Kids Express: a mobile health care unit for children powered by St. Louis Children’s Hospital,” stated Mon Trice, Spin Instructor and Event Organizer.
“The March Madness Spinning Charity is an indoor cycling event with three consecutive one-hour long rides. The event offers an energizing, cycle-inspired ride that combines sound training principles, expert coaching, upbeat music from your favorite artist and a unique mind/body experience guaranteed to get your heart pumping and blood flowing for an excellent workout and an awesome cause.”
Mon Trice continues, “The Healthy Kids Express impacts our community by treating children who would otherwise not receive immunizations, vision screening, dental care and asthma services. It exists due to the generosity of donors and fundraising efforts. We want to help keep them rolling.”
